General Questions:

How do I place an order online?
We work hard to make our site one of the easiest to navigate, and to order from. To add items to your shopping cart, click through our catalog, once you have found an item you want to add to your cart, click on "Add to Cart". You can then modify the quantity of an item by entering a new number and click on the "Update Quantities" button. To remove an item, simply click the "Remove" link next to the item in your cart, or you can also enter 0 (zero) into the quantity field, and click Update Quantities. Then to checkout and place the order, simply click on "Check Out", and follow the instructions.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards through Paypal: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and eChecks. We can also process your order manually if you choose not to pay through our Paypal shopping cart. For this service only Visa and Mastercard are accepted. Do I have to pay sales tax?
You only pay sales tax if you are a resident of Illinois. We are required by law to collect all applicable sales tax in the state of Illinois only.

Is ordering through your site secure?
Yes! We use Paypal's Secure privacy server for the exchange of personal payment information. This means you can safely enter your entire credit card number, and it cannot be read in transit. When placing an order, you will notice the "Secure Transaction" symbol on check out, click on it for more information on how your information is kept secure.

Can I return merchandise I ordered online?
Yes, you can. Customer service and satisfaction are our top priorities. Please read our return Policy on our Shopping Price List page for more details.

Do you print a catalog?
No, we currently don't but we do offer printable pages for our wholesale pricelist that you get print online. Our online catalog is very dynamic; it wouldn't be practical to have a printed version. It could be obsolete by the time you'd get it in the mail !! Just check our site regularly to see all the new products or join our mailinglist. We'll send you e-mail's when ever we have any seasonal promotion and you'll also receive excellent discounts and special pricing.

Do you offer Gift Certificates?
Yes, we currently offer $5, $10, $20 and $50 Gift Certificates that you can print on-line. Find more information on our home page.

Candle Related Questions:

What type of embeds do you use in your gel candles?
Many nonflammable items can be used as embeds in gel candles. Glass items work great, sand, seashells and beach glass are good for the bottom of the candle. We also use wax embeds with a high melting point as not to melt the wax embeds when the candle is poured.

I know I should trim the wick but what is the best way and how much?
The one easiest way to trim the wick would be just to use a regular nail clipper. The clipper prevents the excess wick from dropping back into your candle and snips the wick cleanly. Keep your wick trimmed to 1/4" before each burn.

How far down should I allow my candle burn?
Wax candles can be burned to the very bottom but with gel candles you may risk a potential fire problem if you do. Burn gel candles to about 1/2" from the bottom.

I see metal in my wick is this lead?
NO! We do not use lead in any of our wicks, we only use cotton or zinc core wicks which are safe and not harmful to the envirorment. Research shows that zinc and tin wicks are safe and pass the EPA's air quality tests.

What is Soy and why is it more expensive then Paraffin Candles?
